Leonard L. Hardin

Leonard L Hardin of Interlachen, passed away at Palatka Center for Rehabilitation and Healing, Palatka, on Sunday, Oct. 2, 2022, at 4:45 am.

He was born on Dec. 4, 1941, in Warren, IN to the late Silbert D. and Violet (Arnold) Hardin. Leonard was a 1961 graduate of Warren High School. He retired from Corning Glass Works in Bluffton, and Corning Glass Works in State College; working at both locations. Leonard officially retired to Florida where he has lived for many years.

He is survived by two daughters, LeAnn (Steve) Buzzard, Warren and Jill (Mike) Vogleman, Huntington; one son, Robin P Hardin, Warren; five grandchildren, Jesica (Preston) Dishman, Montpelier, Jenifer (Brad) Myers, Warren, Jarod Schotter, Warren, David (Renee) Shultz, Huntington, Daniel Shultz, Warren; two sisters, Garnet Allen, Warren, and Donna Custer, Fairmount; and by many nieces and nephews and great-grandchildren.

Along with his parents, one brother Gaylord Wayne preceded him in death.

To honor Leonard's wishes there will be no services.

His family would like to thank the Palatka Center for Rehabilitation and Healing for their taking care of Leonard. His family would also like to thank Master's Funeral Home for handling Leonard's arrangements in Florida. LeAnn, Jill, and Robin, would like to thank Pastor Melvin Speicher of the Faith Baptist Church for being a wonderful Servant of the Lord in taking care of Dad. Pastor Mel please know we appreciate you for going above and beyond.
